BACKGROUND
As a Louisiana native, Savanah worked her way from Southeastern Louisiana University, to
Louisiana State University, to Tulane University, before earning her law degree from Tulane
University School of Law. While in law school, she completed a Certificate in Environmental
Law with a concentration in natural resources, coastal management, and energy regulation. She
also served as a judicial extern for the Louisiana Supreme Court, worked with the Louisiana
Governor’s Office on offshore wind development, and gained experience in legislative advocacy
and administrative law.
LITIGATION INVOLVEMENT
Savanah Edwards is an attorney focused on complex litigation and environmental and energy
law. Much of her work involves cases related to chemical exposures, personal injury, and
property damage caused by industrial activity and corporate negligence. She also has experience
with regulatory matters involving energy projects, environmental permitting, and public health.
Savanah became known for her work pertaining to coastal land use, competing resource
interests, coastal land loss, and saltwater intrusion. This background strengthens her ability to
handle cases that involve both public health and long-term environmental risks.
